Left Social Media and became an INVENTOR??

I would say the biggest thing that can steer you away from success is DISTRACTIONS and PROCRASTINATION. These two things are definitely not part of my genetic makeup. When it comes to doing tasks, I’m pretty much on it. However, my DNA does not mix well with social media. The only platform that I feel that is in alignment with my goals is Youtube.

After watching the social dilemma, I immediately signed out of my Instagram for good. I knew exactly how much time I have been wasting, scrolling through junk that for one did not make me smarter, and secondly, it did not help me stay connected with my loved ones. In fact, it did the opposite. Instead of calling, keeping up with them on posts was my main connection.

After refocusing my life and time, I 100% have changed my life for the better. I’m more focused, driven, and procrastination is absolutely impossible. Im engaged even MORE in my spiritual life, my RELATIONSHIP with my husband has been the best its ever been, my kids get more of me, my friends, my family, and my goals have my undivided attention.

I’m a problem solver. Everywhere I go, I notice my brain thrives off innovation and trying to make things simplistic and purposeful.

When I came across an opportunity, I took it. Without giving too much away...I have one invention in the works and is in market analysis. It has been passed on to an innovation team and they want to help me make it a licensed product. I have an amazing software developer as a co inventor and we cannot wait to make this a reality.

My second invention is waiting on a contract deal with a medical company in which we hope to pitch a license deal. These two things will help the medical field tremendously and I’m so thankful I took the courage to step out and submit my ideas that I have been sitting on for almost a decade!

If anyone is reading this, and you feel like you are spending way too much time being unproductive, scrolling through junk on instagram, take it from me: GET RID OF IT. If you have to keep it for business purposes, definitely keep in mind of the time you are wasting on there. It could go to productive things like READING, listening to educational podcasts, self help books, and learning ways to build up to your financial dreams. Don’t let our technologies get the best of you! Social media is a wonderful tool, but for most of us, its a time killer.

Fun and SAFE indoor activities for KIDS.

Fubbles- this spill proof container makes it easy for kids to blow bubbles without any worries of spilling. This is a must have for us, since our entire downstairs is tile. I would hate for her to spill and slip. Cocomelon or Farmees- my kids love to sing and dance. You can access these two nursery rhymes and kid friendly music free on youtube, itunes, and even Alexa. Flash cards- shapes, numbers, letters, and objects are fun and also very educational for little ones. If they don’t seem interested, just add some music and make up a song while having them guess whats on the card. Besides the obvious toys, having a box of dress up clothes is always fun, especially for little girls. I passed my dress up clothes down to my daughter, so she will be able to enjoy: Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Princess Jasmine, Belle from Beauty and the Beast and many more. Alphabet fun- you can actually put all those fun foam alphabet letters kids use in the bathtub by adding a tiny bit of water into...

Ambition and Productivity Killer

How many of you thought of an incredible idea or had an opportunity at the tip of your fingers, but didn’t proceed because of self doubt or distractions?  My BIGGEST productivity killer is distractions. I’m a ‘dot my I’s and cross my T’s...’ kinda gal, and I can become easily distracted by my drive. If I’m browsing something, I want to know all the details. I like to know how things work, and I’m an extreme problem solver. This can easily distract you in our digital world. These aren’t bad traits. These just can be the result of time wasted scrolling on a newsfeed on social media that can bring absolutely nothing of value to your life.  With my time permanently off of social media, I’ve been connecting deeply with friends that I haven’t talked to in months. I’m more attentive to my kids and focused on being in the moment. I’ve placed my phone down without any anxiety about missing out on information from social media because the people I care most about I’m reaching out...
